Greek Mythology & Elotia name

Elotia of Europe: From the union of Posidon and Libya, two children were born Vilos and Aginor. Vilos lived in Africa whereas Aginor went to Asia. He established his own kingdom with the capital of Tiros or Sidona. He married Kassepia or Tilefasa and had three sons, and a daughter. Kadmo, Finika, Kilika and Europe. Europe was so beautiful that the king of gods fell in love with her. He managed  to seduce her by using a cunning and daring scheme.

One beautiful morning when Europe was picking flowers with her friends- not to far from  the seashore-  Zeus appeared disovised as a bull with his calm and graceful body he lied at the feet of Europe. Her friends were so enchanted that couldn't stop staring with admiration. Europe enchanted happily leapt on his back and the animal headed for the sea where he brought Europe to Crete. This is the place where Zeus was born and raised and considered as home.

After her Union with Zeus, Europe had three sons, Minoa, Radamanthy and Sapridona. When her relationship with Zeus was over, Zeus gave her as a bride to Asteriona, king of Krete, who she married but had no children. When she died she was honored by gods and mortals and her name was given to one of the continents and worship her with the name of  “Ellotia”.
