Greek Mythology & Asterion name When Zeus brought Ellotia (Europe) to Crete, Asterion was the king of the island. Zeus had three kids with Ellotia: Minoa, Radamanthy and Sarpidon. Zeus, as soon as enjoyed Ellotias beauty and love, married her with Asterion. Asterion didn't have any children, so he adopted Zeus children, he loved them, he brought them up like they were his and he left them his kingdom.
